Resumen
Free ranging dogs (FRDs) are an emerging and neglected problem in many
developing countries, including Chile, which involves cultural aspects and has
impacts to animal and public health, animal welfare and wildlife conservation. As dogs
are part of human life, the problem of FRDs requires an interdisciplinary approach.
