Resumen
La siguiente tesis tiene como objetivo investigar y evaluar la zona de Quintay,
balneario situado entre Santiago y Valparaíso, como potencial centro turístico. Para
ello se confeccionaron entrevistas, catastros de recursos naturales y sociales, para
determinar si es factible convertir este lugar en un centro de atractivo para la gente,
basado en el aprovechamiento de sus intereses turísticos junto con la ayuda y
participación de la misma gente de la zona.
Es importante agradecer a los mismos lugareños en la realización de esta
investigación, a la Ilustre Municipalidad de Casablanca y al Centro de
Investigaciones de la Universidad Andrés Bello.
The following thesis has the purpose of investigating and evaluating the coast of Quintay, which is located between Santiago and Valaparaiso, as a potential tourism place. For this, there were interviews, land registry of natural resources and social resources done, to decide if it is feasible to turn this place into an attractive place for people to visit, based on its tourism attractiveness together with the help and participation ofthe local people. Is important to thank the local people for helping in the investigation, to the Ilustre Municipalidad of Casablanca and the Research Center of the Universidad Andrés Bello.
