Con la idea de analizar la prefactibilidad técnica y económica de una Planta Elaboradora de Queso de Cabra, en la comuna de Lolol, sexta región - Chile, es que se reúne a un grupo de agricultores de la zona, que sometían sus caprinos a mejora una genética, la que permitiría aumentar considerablemente la producción de leche y con ello, la producción de quesos.
Sobre la base de esta inquietud, surge este proyecto: “Planta Elaboradora de Quesos de Cabra”, que tiene como objetivo: Analizar bajo qué condiciones la planta sería rentable y sostenible en el tiempo. Para el logro de estos objetivos, se estudió el mercado del queso de cabra, a nivel internacional, nacional y regional, dando como resultado estratégico que los mercados objetivos son los de las regiones: metropolitana, sexta y séptima, con una participación de 4, 30 y 30% respectivamente.
Paralelamente, se realizó un estudio técnico que arrojó como resultados:
-La adquisición de maquinaria, que permitiría incrementar la capacidad operativa a 1500 litros de leche al día.
-La construcción de una planta de 100 metros cuadrados, y
-Un lombrifiltro para contrarrestar la eliminación de residuos industriales líquidos (RIL).
El proyecto será financiado por los agricultores a través de la compra de acciones de la empresa. Empresa que a su vez, entregará la garantía de compra de leche a los productores durante todo el año sin variación de precio.
El costo del capital calculado es de 15%. Con este se calcularon los indicadores financieros; Valor Actual Neto (VAN) y Tasa Interna de Retorno (TIR), obteniendo como resultado 58.830 dólares y 23% respectivamente.
En síntesis, según el resultado financiero analizado, no existen razones para decir que el proyecto no es rentable.
