En este seminario de grado, se analiza la influencia que puedan ejercer los padres sobre las actividades físicas que realizan sus propios hijos en su etapa escolar. En este estudio se investigó de manera específica algunos de los aspectos motivacionales, que afectan el desempeño y formación del alumno con respecto a la actividad física.
Esta investigación se realizó mediante un cuestionario objetivo de selección múltiple, el que se llevó a cabo a estudiantes de 5º básico del Colegio Los Reyes y Escuela Básica Darío Salas de la comuna de Quilpué, para poder buscar con esto la relación que existe en el ámbito de la influencia, apoyo e interés por realizar actividad física. El instrumento formulado por los investigadores fue validado por la profesora Carola Lagos Kramm de manera voluntaria para la aprobación y opinión para el posterior análisis de esta investigación.
El tipo de investigación a la cual está dirigida es no experimental, lo que permite observar la nula modificación sobre los resultados obtenidos durante el proceso de la investigación. También se pretende dar a conocer los objetivos que se quieren lograr mediante esta investigación, siendo uno de ellos el poder identificar el rol de los padres sobre la formación de hábitos de actividad física en sus hijos en su etapa escolar, conocer los hábitos de actividad física de un grupo de niños de quinto básico de los establecimientos seleccionados, conocer los hábitos y la visión sobre la actividad física de los padres y apoderados de niños de Quinto año básico y analizar la relación y el apoyo entre los hábitos de actividad física entre padres e hijos en su etapa escolar.
Según los datos obtenidos en la investigación, se pudo relacionar los perfiles del padre y del alumno hacia la actividad física, logrando comparaciones entre ambos colegios y sus distintas realidades, pudiendo medir el impacto y la conciencia deportiva que poseen los estudiantes de establecimientos con concepciones deportivas diferentes, y por lo tanto, se pudo validar la hipótesis relacionada a la influencia de los padres con respecto a las decisiones deportivas de los hijos y como puede llegar a influir de manera positiva si los padres también poseen cultura deportiva.

This research was conducted by questionnaire in which consisted of closed questions with alternatives, where was held to students of 5th basic from the Kings College and school basic Dario Salas of the commune Quilpué, to seek this relationship that exists in the field of influence, support and interest in physical activity. The instrument developed by the researchers was validated by Professor Carola Lakes Kramm on a voluntary basis for approval and opinion for the subsequent analysis of this research. The type of research to which it is addressed is not experimental, allowing you to observe no modification on the results obtained during the research process. Also aims to meet the objectives that are to be achieved through this research, to identify the role of parents on the formation of physical activity habits in their children in his school stage, knowing the habits of physical activity of a group of children from basic fifth of establishments selected, know the habits and the vision on the physical activity of parents and proxy of fifth graders basic and analyze the relationship and support between the habits of physical activity between parents and children at the school stage. In relation to the data obtained in the investigation related the realities of both profiles both the father and the student toward physical activity and comparing both schools and their different realities, measuring the impact and sports consciousness that have students of establishments with different sports cultures, validating the hypothesis concerning the influence on sports decisions of children by parents and as it can positively influence if the parents also have sporting culture.
