RESUMEN: El Proyecto Turístico Juncal (pTJ) corresponde al desarrollo de un proyecto de turismo sustentable, al interior de una propiedad privada, y cuyos objetivos centrales son regular el uso del área y proteger sus recursos, poner en valor sus atributos naturales y culturales, propiciando la realización de actividades sustentables y el desarrollo de otras iniciativas de tipo deportivo, científico, cultural y educacional.
Este proyecto se localiza al interior del predio "Mineral Cordillera", en la
Cordillera de Los Andes cerca a Portillo, en la Provincia y Comuna de Los Andes, V
Región, a dos horas de distancia de la ciudad de Santiago. El predio pertenece a la
familia Kenrick y consta de una superficie aproximada de 13.796 hás.
El estudio técnico de esta tesis apunta a diseñar un sendero de trekking, cabalgata
y bicicleta por el cual se acceda a la base del glaciar y cerro el Juncal. Considerando
fundamental en su proceso un diseño ecológico. Se pretende ocupar creatividad y visión
sustentable creando un producto ecoturístico de calidad y amigable con su entorno, para
esto se investigarán experiencias similares de ecoturismo, se analizará a fondo el terreno
y se integrarán conocimientos de personas expertas en el tema.
ABSTRACT: The Juncal Tourist Project (JTP) corresponds to the development of a sustainable tourism project, inside private property, whose main objectives are to regulate the use and exploit ofthe area and its resources, and to value its natural and cultural attributes, so as to perform sustainable activities in the area, and develop other types such as scientific, sports, cultural, and educational activities. This project takes place in the interior ofthe property "Mineral Cordillera", in the Andes Mountains near Portillo, in the Province and Commune ofLos Andes, 5th Region, two hours away from Santiago. The property belongs to the Kenrick family and has an area ofabout 13.796 acres. It is because ofthis that tecnic study for this thesis points to design a trekking, bicycle and horseback ridding trail, through which you can get to the base ofthe glacier and the Juncal hill. AH creative vision will be used in creating an ecotourism product that is ofhigh quality and friendly with its environment, and that has Sports, recreation, scientific and education in which the future tourist has direct interaction with nature, in which the trail is located.
