This study is aimed at examining the reaction of elementary EFL second grade students when being exposed to English lessons with and without the use of kinesthetic activities. In arder to do this, three classes without the use of kinesthetic activities and three with their use were recorded and then analyzed in arder to see the students' reaction to these types of activities. This analysis focused on 'Use of language' and 'participation' and on four students only. The general results for these four students showed that students' reaction in the two aspects examined increased when they were exposed to the use of kinesthetic activities. From these findings it is possible to confirm the main objective of this study in that the use of kinesthetic activities for the teaching of English to second graders seemed to be effective.
