Introduction: High fidelity clinical simulation is a type of simulation designed to acquire advanced skills and achieve solving clinical cases, in which realistic simulation spaces are recreated with simulators of human patients. Strategies like this can foster academic self-efficacy and increase student satisfaction. Objective: To determine the relationship between academic self-efficacy and satisfaction in nursing students who have participated in high-fidelity clinical simulation at a university in the Biobío region, by 2020. Methodology: A quantitative, non-experimental, crosssectional, descriptive approach study and correlational. To 52 nursing students, the Quality and Satisfaction Survey of clinical simulation was applied, in addition to the Academic Self-Efficacy Scale (EACA). A descriptive statistical analysis of the data was carried out, using SPSS version 19, evaluating frequency distribution, measures of central tendency, measures of variability and inferential statistical analysis. Results: In nursing students who have participated in high-fidelity clinical simulation, it is determined that there is a high academic self-efficacy which presents a significant relationship with satisfaction, since, for each point that increases academic selfefficacy, satisfaction increases by 0.79 points.
