Resumen
El proceso de la hospitalizaciĆ³n en el niƱo llega a interrumpir un proceso natural independiente de la edad de este, por ende, esta separaciĆ³n genera alto impacto en la familia, tanto en el niƱo como los padres.
Dado que a lo largo de la historia se ha considerado a la madre como la figura principal de cuidado, surge la necesidad de conocer como el padre se enfrenta a esta experiencia desde su rol de padre y todos los Ɣmbitos que esto implica.
El objetivo principal de este estudio es conocer la experiencia del padre que tiene un niƱo/a hospitalizado en un servicio pediƔtrico.
Se realizaron un total de 8 entrevistas en el servicio de PediatrĆa del Hospital Carlos Van Buren durante el aƱo 2019.
