I y II.
A single fixed prosthesis is a cemented restoration that reconstructs the morphology, function, and aesthetics of a damaged tooth, protecting the remaining tooth structures from further disorders. The purpose of this study is to conduct a clinical and radiographic evaluation, along with assessing the satisfaction degree of patients with metal or metal-free ceramo crowns with a cast post and core system, carried out between 2009 and 2012 by undergraduate students of the Faculty of Dentistry at Andrés Bello University and compare their parameters with those established in the literature and in the professorship of integral of the adult. The study is descriptive and cross-sectional. The sample corresponds to 64 single fixed prostheses. Data collection was carried out using clinical records handed by the treating students. In addition, the software Smile recorded and provided data from patients who have been treated at the Faculty. The sample type is nonprobabilistic. The inclusion criteria were patients with a cast post and core single fixed prosthesis, over 18 years old, treated between 2009 and 2012 by undergraduate students. Data were submitted to Chi - square test using the software ST ATA. The less successful parameter was the relation between the length of pin and radicular length with a 66%, which suggests giving a greater emphasis on the treatments provided by students who attend the integral adult dental clinic 1 and 11. The single fixed prostheses made by undergraduate students of the Faculty of Dentistry at Andrés Bello University between 2009 and 2012, fulfill a 91% of the established parameters in the literature and in the professorship of the integral adult.
