La orientaciĆ³n de esta memoria serĆ” proponer un plan de mejora en el diseƱo de
las rutas de transporte terrestre de la empresa Galaico Chilena de Conservas S.A.
La empresa cuenta solo con un centro de distribuciĆ³n en la ciudad de Lota, la que
abastece a todos los clientes. Dado que se producirĆ” un cambio de localidad durante
la realizaciĆ³n de este proyecto, estas nuevas rutas serĆ”n las estudiadas y
analizadas, debido a que serƔn estos centros los que abastecerƔn a los clientes y
se deben optimizar estas rutas.
Lo primero a realizar fue definir el concepto de distribuciĆ³n y logĆstica, junto al
objetivo general y objetivos especĆficos del proyecto.
A continuaciĆ³n, se realizĆ³ un diagnĆ³stico de la situaciĆ³n actual de la empresa
mediante herramientas de anĆ”lisis interno y externo, luego se diseĆ±Ć³ un diagrama
para el proceso de preparaciĆ³n de pedidos y de distribuciĆ³n, con todo esto se
generĆ³ una identificaciĆ³n de los principales problemas que tiene el proceso de
distribuciĆ³n y se identificaron las mejoras para la soluciĆ³n deseada.
Para otorgar soluciĆ³n a la problemĆ”tica se buscĆ³ la opciĆ³n de incorporar un software
de logĆstica de transporte en donde se determinĆ³ la mejor opciĆ³n entre realizarlo
desde cero o contratar un software ya finalizado y listo para su utilizaciĆ³n. Con esto
definido se dio paso a verificar los beneficios de la soluciĆ³n adoptada para
finalmente ser comparada con el proceso actual de distribuciĆ³n presente en la
empresa.
The orientation of this report will be to propose an improvement plan in the design of the land transport routes of the company Galaico Chilena de Conservas S.A. The company has only one distribution center in the city of Lota, which supplies all customers. Given that there will be a change of location during the realization of this project, these new routes will be studied and analyzed, because it will be these centers that will supply customers and these routes must be optimized. The first thing to do was to define the concept of distribution and logistics, together with the general objective and specific objectives of the project. Next, a diagnosis of the current situation of the company was made through internal and external analysis tools, then a diagram was designed for the order preparation and distribution process, with all this an identification of the main problems that the distribution process has was generated and the improvements for the desired solution were identified. To provide a solution to the problem, the option of incorporating a transport logistics software was sought, where the best option was determined between doing it from scratch or hiring a software already finished and ready for use. With this defined, the benefits of the adopted solution were verified to finally be compared with the current distribution process present in the company.
