El presente estudio descriptivo pretende caracterizar la convivencia escolar de un colegio particular –pagado de la comuna de Concepción, de acuerdo a las percepciones aportadas por los estudiantes de 7° Básico. De acuerdo a ello, se detalla la convivencia escolar desde la visión de los propios sujetos, profundizando en el ambiente de respeto y buen trato, la existencia de normas y su aplicación y la seguridad en el establecimiento educacional. Desde la visión de los estudiantes, la convivencia escolar es regular, puesto que el trato en las relaciones entre pares y profesor-alumno está condicionado por diversos factores; el respeto es un valor que, más bien, se promueve a nivel declarativo; no hay apropiación del manual de convivencia escolar y existen episodios de violencia y bullying al interior del curso.
The current descriptive study intends to characterize the school coexistence in a private school from the city of Concepción, according to the perceptions given by students from seventh grade. According to this, school coexistence is fully detailed from the point of view of the own subjects, making a deep research on respect and good treatment in the school environment, the existence of rules and its application and the safety in the school.From the point of view of the students, the school coexistence is regular, because the treatment between classmates and teachers-students is conditioned to several factors; respect is a value that is promoted as a declarative level; there is no appropriation of the school coexistence manual and there are violence episodes and bullying cases inside the class.
