As a creative means the antiviral capacity of the chemical compounds EICAR, Acivicin were evaluated, also of two compounds of natural origin (Natural 1 and Natural 2) in two groups of fishes of Rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss), of 105 and 42 days old, infected in natural way, with the of Infectious Pancreatic Necrosis Virus (IPNV). For the fingerlings of Group 1 (105 days old) treatments were applied during 15 days with the antiviral EICAR and with Natural 1, to a concentration of 0,6 gg/ml and 20 HI/ml respectively. The fingerlings of Group 2 were treated for the same period of time with the antiviral EICAR, Acivicin, Natural 1 and Natural 2 to a concentration of 0,6 gg/ml, 9,4 gg/ml, 20gl/ml and 40 HI/ml respectively. When the experience was over, the survival was compared with the control groups infected naturally, and with no treatment. The final survival of the fingerlings of the Group 1 was 76,2% for the fingerlings infected and not treated (Gl C+), 90,5% for those treated with EICAR (Gl c/E), 95,2% for those treated with antiviral Natural 1 (Gl C/N 1). The final survival of the fingerlings of the Group 2, was 42,9% for the infected not treated (G2 C+), 45,2 for those treated with EICAR (G2 c/E), 90,5 for those treated with Acivicin (G2 c/Aciv.), 47,6% and 23,8% for those treated with the antiviral Natural 1 (G2 C/N 1) and Natural 2 (G2 c/N2) respectively.
