to air Heat Pump (Bomba de calor agua ā aire
unitario GSHP) HVAC 2.
viviendas.
Currently in Chile, energy consumption for air conditioning exceeds 50% of total consumption and does not ensure the occupant adequate levels of temperature, humidity, thermal comfort and air quality, so this research aims to perform a technical evaluation regarding the implementation of HVAC system in homes in Lampa of the Metropolitan Region through the modeling of 3 different housing designs with the same materiality masonry, in the Design Builder software, in this way the various HVAC systems were tested in order to recognize which of these delivers greater thermal comfort for the user at a lower energy consumption, resulting in the GSHP Unitary water to air Heat Pump (GSHP Unitary water - air heat pump) HVAC 2 system. is the one that provides greater thermal comfort with lower energy consumption compared to the other HVAC systems. It should be noted that in all simulations the HVAC systems generate an increase of at least 40% of the thermal comfort of the dwellings.
