El trabajo tiene como propĆ³sito presentar una estrategia didĆ”ctica, basada en el aporte de las ilustraciones (imĆ”genes) para una correcta comprensiĆ³n de textos literarios. Se trata de una investigaciĆ³n de carĆ”cter cualitativo, del tipo investigaciĆ³n-acciĆ³n, apoyada en entrevistas, observaciones e intervenciones prĆ”cticas con el uso de cubos ilustrados. Su objetivo es saber si los estudiantes de cuarto bĆ”sico comprenden textos literarios adecuados al nivel a travĆ©s de imĆ”genes. Esta investigaciĆ³n tendrĆ” implicancias prĆ”cticas, ya que pretende ser un aporte para profesores, ampliando sus estrategias de trabajo; y para estudiantes, pues tiene el potencial de medir comprensiĆ³n lectora de una forma didĆ”ctica e interactiva. Este estudio se justifica en la necesidad de incorporar a las aulas nacionales estrategias que motiven a los estudiantes y despierten su interĆ©s y participaciĆ³n en el proceso de comprensiĆ³n lectura.
The aim of this investigation is to present a didactic strategy, based on the contribution of illustrations (pictures) for an appropiate comprehension of literary texts. It is about a resarch of qualitative characteristics, and it belongs to an investigation-action type, that is supported in interviews, observations and practical interventions with the use of illustrated cubes. Its objective was to know if the students of a fourth grade of elementary school were capable to comprehend literary texts through the use of pictures. The results of this investigation were that students were in fact, capable to comprehend texts through pictures, enjoying and participating more of the reading process. The implications of this research are of practical nature, given that it pretends to be a contribution for teachers, widening their working strategies; and regarding the students, it has the potential to measure reading comprehension in a didactic and interactive way. This study was justified in the necessity of incorporating strategies inside classroom and at a national level that motivate students, wake up their interest and participation in the reading comprehension process.
