Breast cancer is a high prevalence and mortality cause in Chile, with the V region having the highest breast cancer related mortality rate in our country. This year, 10 kinesiology sessions will be added to the GES breast cancer program, so basic knowledge about oncologic kinetic intervention from these professionals will be necessary. This work's objective is to better know and describe Health Services public hospitals 2010's breast cancer oncologic kinetic care. This is a descriptive cross-sectional research, and it uses a qualitative and quantitative descriptive statistical method. A 23-questions survey was performed. lt was validated by national and international professionals. Which includes all the kinesiologists from V region secondary public care. The obtained sample consisted of n=65 (73%) of an 89 kinesiologist population. The aim of the questionnaire was to: investigate if those professionals performed oncological intervention on V region secondary care, know how many of the V region physiotherapists had training in physiotherapy treatment for breast cancer and to identify techniques and tools used by physiotherapists in breast cancer patients management, in the V region. The obtained results showed that kinetics intervention is not yet established in most public hospitals of the V region and that only 47% of hospitals apply it. Another important result is that 81 % of physiotherapists who were surveyed have treated cancer patients in their careers, using most frequently kinetic exercises, education, massage therapy and MLD (Manual Lymphatic Drainage). lt's also important to notice that there are few physiotherapist that have sorne kind of training in the oncological kinetics area, with only 9,2% of total respondents physiotherapists, showing the lack of training in this area.
