El trabajo presentado a continuaciĆ³n, se enfoca en la elaboraciĆ³n de un Plan de Seguridad y Salud Ocupacional para implementarlo en la Mina El Dorado. Este plan tendrĆ” el propĆ³sito de implementar una cultura en prevenciĆ³n de riesgos laborales, generando en cada uno de los trabajadores el autocuidado en la faena minera.
El plan fue construido en base a la norma OHSAS 18001 la cual establece los requisitos mĆnimos de las mejores prĆ”cticas en gestiĆ³n de Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo, destinados a permitir que una organizaciĆ³n controle sus riesgos para la SST y mejore su desempeƱo de la SST.
AdemĆ”s, se construyĆ³ una matriz de āIdentificaciĆ³n de Peligros y EvaluaciĆ³n de Riesgosā. Esta matriz es una herramienta desarrollada para evaluar los procesos de la Mina El Dorado, pero tambiĆ©n se puede aplicar en otra mineras. El uso correcto de la matriz ayudarĆ” a la empresas a cumplir con los requerimientos establecidos por las leyes en cuestiones de seguridad, para mejorar los procesos de capacitaciĆ³n de empleados y la planificaciĆ³n de nuevos trabajos.
Adicionalmente se mencionan los peligros mas comunes que ocurren en la minerĆa con sus respectivas medidas de control y asĆ poder evitar que ocurran este tipo de peligros.
The work presented below focuses on the preparation of an Occupational Health and Safety Plan to be implemented in the El Dorado Mine. This plan will have the purpose of implementing a culture in prevention of occupational hazards, generating in each of the workers self-care in the mining task. The plan was built on the basis of the OHSAS 18001 standard which establishes the minimum requirements for best practices in Occupational Health and Safety management, designed to allow an organization to control its risks for SST and improve its performance of the SST. In addition, a matrix of "Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment" was built. This matrix is a tool developed to evaluate the processes of the El Dorado Mine, but it can also be applied in other mining companies. The correct use of the matrix will help the companies to comply with the requirements established by the laws in matters of security, to improve the processes of employee training and the planning of new jobs. Additionally, the most common hazards that occur in mining with their respective control measures are mentioned so that these types of hazards can be prevented.
