Resumen
Esta investigación se encuentra en el marco de un diagnóstico del territorio para el ecoturismo y que sirva como base de información para futuras investigaciones o proyectos en el territorio del Valle de Aguas Calientes, Las Trancas, Chillán, región de Ñuble.
Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se abordaron los objetivos con el fin de conocer los principales recursos turísticos y la oferta turística respecto al valle. Por otro lado, se realizó una encuesta aplicada a personas que hayan visitado el valle con el fin de conocer el perfil de los turistas que llegan al valle. Finalmente, se realizó un mapa en donde se muestra las zonas en uso y los principales recursos en la zona para luego realizar una propuesta de zonas y elementos para diversificar la experiencia de los turistas.
Los resultados mostraron que el principal atractivo son las aguas termales y es allí donde se concentra la mayor parte de los turistas que van al valle. Además, el público es variado, pero predominan adultos jóvenes que visitan el valle por cuenta propia.
Finalmente, se propuso una variedad de elementos para poder potenciar las experiencias en el valle y motivar a que los turistas recorran el valle más a profundidad poniendo en valor todo el territorio.
This research is part of a territorial diagnosis for ecotourism and serves as a foundation of information for future investigations or projects in the Valle de Aguas Calientes, Las Trancas, Chillan, region de Ñuble. The objectives of this research were addressed to identify the main tourist resources and the tourist offer in the valley. Additionally, a survey was conducted among people who have visited the valley to understand the profile of the tourists arriving in the area. Finally, a map was created to display the areas in use and the main resources in the area, followed by a proposal of zones and elements to diversify the tourists' experience. The results revealed that the main attraction is the hot springs, and that's where the majority of tourists in the valley are concentrated. Furthermore, the audience is diverse, but young adults who visit the valley on their own predominate. In conclusion, a variety of elements were proposed to enhance experiences in the valley and encourage tourists to explore the area more deeply, thereby highlighting the value of the entire territory.
