Resumen
Callyntra Solier, 1836 is an endemic genus of Chile and Argentina which contains 22 described species. Based on adult specimens and an egg from the coast of central Chile, C. tortuosa sp. nov. is described. The relationship with other species of Callyntra, morphological variability, sexual dimorphism and conservation status are discussed. © 2017 Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, Instituto de Biología
