Resumen
La percepción subjetiva de tiempo (PST), es la percepción interna,
psicológica del individuo, que se estructura en un espacio y una duración, sin las
claves externas de reloj. El propósito de este estudio fue conocer en que nivel se
encuentran los niños y niñas escolares de educación básica de Viña del Mar en su
PST. El estudio fue realizado con 405 escolares, divididos en rangos etarios de 10,
11 y 12 años. El instrumento utilizado fue el Test de Percepción Subjetiva de
Tiempo. Los resultados permiten concluir que en general, el promedio de los niños
de 11 años es mejor que las niñas, sin embargo éstas son mejores en su PST en
los rangos de 1 O y 12 años, que los niños; no existen diferencias significativas
entre alumnos de colegios municipalizados y particular privados considerando el
rango de edad (p> 0.05); no así al comparar las edades en el test PST a través de
una Anova con un a 0,01
The Subjective Time Perception ( STP ) is the intern and psychological perception of the individual, which is structured in a space and duration, without the externa! keys of the clock. The study was carried out on the basis of 405 students, divided into 1 O, 11 and 12 rank ages. The instrument used was the Subjective Time Perception Test ( STPT ). The results permit to conclude that in general the average of boys aged 11 is better than that of the girls of the same age. However, that of the girls aged 1 O and 11 is better than that the boys of the same age in their STP. There aren't any meaningful differences between municipal school students and those of private schools, considering their age rank (p>0,05).
