Introduction: Job satisfaction is a key consideration for employers and managers as it influences recruitment, retention and workplace culture, which is also determined by intrinsic factors such as job, job stress, quality of leadership, level of autonomy, ability to provide quality care and complete tasks within working hours. Design : The design selected for this study is a literature review in which primary studies that have evaluated factors influencing job satisfaction in kinesiology professionals were analyzed. Results: Seventeen studies were selected for this review, where the authors made reference to both predictors and factors influencing job satisfaction of kinesiologists; the results were also identified in type of establishment, distinction between public and private services, and intrinsic and extrinsic factors. Discussion: It is evidenced that the adequate supervision of the work, carried out by the head, is directly related to job satisfaction, because the leadership role and hierarchy should allow a certain degree of autonomy of the kinesiologists in their work performance. Remuneration, professional development opportunities and adequate teamwork stand out among the factors involved in achieving adequate satisfaction. Further studies are needed in different geographical areas to extend the analysis of this variable
