Es esencial, en este sentido, atender a la estética de la mirada para comprender la Antigüedad clásica, el arte moderno, el paisaje italiano y la naturaleza, mediante el análisis, sobre todo, de los relatos descriptivos compilados en la obra Viaje a Italia en relación con otros escritos poéticos, científicos y autobiográficos de Goethe.In this essay it seeks on the morphology of Johann Wolfgang von Goethe`s travel in Italy circumscribed on his self-formation and the interaction among the categories nature, art and society. It draws attention over the rule of Goethean eye`s aesthetics essential to the knowledge of Classical Antiquity, modern art, Italian landscape and nature.
