Using drama activities this research tests language anxiety and its effects during a period of time performing drama activities. This study used the Foreign Language Classroom Anxiety Scale (FLCAS). With a one-group pre-test/middle and post-test to see if there is a statistical reduction of foreign language anxiety. This study was carried out with 74 students who attended 6-week participating in drama activities and finishing with a play performance, the findings from the scale were analysed through the SPSS 20 software. A statistically significant decrease was found in language anxiety levels of the students who participated in the creative drama programme.
