Una mala interpretación podría, sin embargo, neutralizar los profundos alcances morales de esta fundamentación de la dignidad humana. En el presente artículo, el autor pretende mostrar que la manera en que Spaemann entiende la idea del hombre como fin en sí mismo permite superar los problemas propios de la ética kantiana y defender de manera consistente la dignidad de todas las personas. Abstract: The idea of man as an end in himself is one of the most important of Kant's standings in ethic rnatters. A wrong interpretation could neutra1ize the deep moral dimensions ofthis foundation ofhuman dignity.
