These processes occurred especially in urban spaces, where women's work became a necessity for the national economy development, expanding the action field of women and generating a complex readaptation of sociocultural patterns. Based on this, census data was studied for female and male admission to educational classrooms during the 20th century, data that, by using a gender analysis, will contrast the traditional and modern images that Eva projects in its pages.esChile20th CenturyEvaFemale professionalizationEducationRepresentation"That the steel of the pen does not displace the steel of the needle": representations of university and professional women in Eva magazine (Chile, 1948-1960)“Que el acero de la pluma no desplace el acero de la aguja”: representaciones de la mujer universitaria y profesional en la revista Eva (Chile, 1948-1960)AnimaAnimacióntionATTRIBUTION-NONCOMMERCIAL-NODERIVS 4.0 INTERNATIONAL10.30827/arenal.v30i2.23766
