Introduction: The rehabilitation is based on implants considered a therapeutic tool to salve large edentulism, with a high success report. The success of this discipline requires a customized approach based on the functional, anatomical, psychological and esthetic evaluation of each candidate for implants. That is why no doubt the diagnosis and planning become the most important and crucial stages, which must be a very careful interpretation of all information collected. However, it is a problem the transfer of the desired implant planning radiographic diagrammed in the clinical field. The objective of these surgical guides is made. Considering this is customary that planning should be respected, with small variations operative, however, important changes will lead to incompatible situations with rehabilitation. Objective: To evaluate and compare statistically matching implant planning and surgical obtained by evaluating the panoramic radiograph. Methods: By planimetry diagrammed on tracing paper provides the backbone of each and every planned implant installed, comparing both inclination and position, with some tolerance. Results: There is no change in position and inclination significantly related to the planning and execution of the installation of implants. Conclusion: A trend in all topographical zones mismatch in the vast majority of the installed implants, both in relation to parameters evaluated. - Trend maxilla: Tilt mesial and distal position. - Trend mandible: Tilt distal and distal position. The position of the operator and the use of surgical guides is apparently important in the installation of the implant, as well as alters the position and inclination of the implants installed definitively. However, it is important to emphasize that the surgeon to perform the flap can see areas with better features that previously observed in planning (20), thus allowing a better technique for installation. That is why to achieve greater precision in this assessment, the sample needs to be planned and analyzed images that provide information in three dimensions available.esRadiografía PanorámicaImplantes DentariosChileAnálisis imagenológico comparativo de planificación radiográfica inicial v/s control de instalación final de implantes oseointegradosTesis
