Diseño y evaluación de la creación de un centro ecoturístico en la localidad de Isla Negra, comuna de El Quisco

Abstract

Este trabajo se centra en el diseño y la evaluación de la creación de un centro ecoturístico, situado en un área no explotada y muy atractiva de la Comuna de Isla Negra, en la Región de Valparaíso, cerca de la Casa de Pablo Neruda, Quebrada de Córdoba y Localidad de El Totoral. Para ello se investigaron proyectos en Chile y otros países. Además, se hicieron varias visitas al sitio donde se va a ubicar el proyecto, con el fin de analizar su viabilidad. Con la ayuda de una evaluación y diagnóstico se define el producto, el cliente y se determina el sistema de comercialización. Por último, en base a lo anterior, se realiza un estudio financiero. Como conclusión, se confirma que el proyecto es viable y se definen los lineamientos estratégicos para que el proyecto mantenga su continuidad y sustentabilidad en el tiempo.

Ecotourism today is one of the most promising industries in Chile. But it has not been developed as it should have been, despite the increasing number of tourists that demand this type of service. This research focuses on the design and evaluation of the creation of an ecotouristic lodge, located at an unexploited and attractive area of Valparaiso Region, close to the House of Pablo Neruda, Cordoba's Creek, and Totoral Town. To evaluate this project we investigated further projects in Chile and other countries. Also, visited the site were the project will be located and analized the viabiliaty of developing it. Through a diagnostic procedure we defined the product and the clienf s profile and designed a commercialization of it. Finally, based on the above, we made a financia! study. As a conclusion, we confirmed that the project is economically able and determined strategic recommendations to maintain sustainable success over the time.
