The Villa Paulina sector, located in the "Yerba Loca" Nature Sanctuary, Metropolitan Region of Chile, is a beautiful location and also it has suitable conditions for practicing outdoor aetivities. However, the current situation of tourism plant and infrastructure discourage tourism, throwing away s significant part ofthe educational, recreational and economic potential tOOt it possesses. Throughout ofthis research, the means to cOOnge this situation had been searched for, in order to make it favorable for visits.. For this reason a tourist use proposal was developed. It was carried out in three phases according with each specific target. The idea of the mst of them was zoning the aetivities. It generated the conceptual background tOOt guided the suggested improvements works (tld target) for tourism plant and infrastructure. In turn, these physicals interventions would allow activities related with environmental interpretation under different itineraries, as answer to the 3rd target. The main purpose of this research was to develop a clear and consistent supporting tool which allows to too sanctuary administration to count on a real intervention guide for the studyarea.
