El objetivo de esta investigación es evidenciar la presencia de experiencias de
aprendizaje mediado en educación superior, específicamente en las aulas de la carrera de
Psicopedagogía de la Universidad Andrés Bello específicamente en la sede de casona Las
Condes. El estudio aborda la interacción entre alumno y profesor en el proceso de
enseñanza aprendizaje. A través de la observación directa se pretende identificar conductas
por parte de los docentes que indiquen la presencia de los tres criterios universales de
mediación, los cuales permiten modificar estructuras cognitivas y lograr un aprendizaje
significativo en el alumno. Estos son intencionalidad y búsqueda de reciprocidad,
trascendencia y significado propuestos por el autor Reuven Feuerstein.
A partir del análisis de los resultados de las clases observadas de seis profesores de
la carrera de Psicopedagogía, quienes realizan experiencias de aprendizaje mediado, se
construyó un instrumento informal de evaluación, el cual contiene indicadores concretos de
los tres criterios universales de mediación. De esta manera, será accesible para todos los
docentes de educación superior identificar prácticas de mediación en sus clases para brindar
a los alumnos experiencias de aprendizaje mediado en las respectivas asignaturas.
The purpose of this investigation is to make evident the precense of mediation experiences in higher education, specifically in the educational psychology major classrooms at the University Andrés Bello. This study adressess the interaction between the teacher and student in the learning process. The intention is that through direct observation it is possible to identify teacher's conducts that show the precense of the the three universal criteria for mediation, which allow to modify cognitive structures and achieve meaningfull learning on behalf of the students. These are the intentional search for reciprocity, transcendance and meaning proposed by Reuven Feurestein. From the analysis of the results of the observed classes done by six different teachers of the educational psychology major, who use techniques of mediation for the learning experience, a formal instrument was built. This has specific indicators to measure the three universal criteria for mediation. Through this instrument it will be possible for every college professor to identify mediation techniques in their lessons, and be able to provide them of these in every lecture.
