Región de La Araucanía, provincia Cautín, comuna Toltén una zona netamente silvoagropecuaria, que hoy en día comienza a desarrollar el área del turismo como nuevas formas de ingreso económico para las distintas familias del sector.
Es por ello que el predio Fundo El Pino de la sociedad Silvoagropecuaria El Pino Ltda., que cuenta con 870 ha. aproximadas, solicita realizar un diagnóstico de las potencialidades turísticas que facilite, a mediano plazo, el desarrollar actividades ecoturísticas en complemento a su actividad económica productiva agrícola actual.
El diagnóstico descriptivo al que apunta esta memoria contribuiría además al objetivo de la comuna de Toltén ubicada en la zona costera de la provincia de Cautín en sus propósitos de aumentar el flujo turístico hacia la región de La Araucanía, que en la actualidad se ha orientado mayoritariamente a su zona cordillerana lacustre. Así se estaría contribuyendo no sólo a intereses particulares, sino que a las políticas de la comuna, que cuenta con dos ríos, pueblitos costeros tales como: Queule donde desemboca el río Boldo, y está propuesto como el futuro puerto de la región de La Araucanía; Nigue, pequeño balneario y; La Barra en donde desemboca el río Toltén que nace en el Lago Villarrica, río en el cual se desarrollan pesca recreativa. La presente investigación diagnostica las potencialidades turísticas del Fundo El Pino, identificando los diferentes componentes de la oferta, tales como los atractivos turísticos, equipamiento e instalaciones, infraestructura y aspectos institucionales, además de la demanda actual y potencial. Con ello a través de un análisis de fortalezas y debilidades turísticas del predio y las oportunidades y amenazas que le presenta el entorno.
Este estudio pretende entregar las recomendaciones para un mejor de la Sociedad Silvoagropecuaria Ltda., por medio de su puesta en valor turística.
The Toltén commune is located on the coastal region of Araucanía, in the province of Cautín. lt is mostly an agroforestry area, which at present is beginning to develop turistically as an alternative income for the different families of the sector. This is why, the 'El Pino' farm (agroforestry limited association) of approximately 870 hectares, has asked for a diagnosis of the touristic potential of the area, in a medium term, to develop ecoturistic activities in addition to the current ones of the farm. The work described in the summary would also contribute to the Toltén commune's objectives in its aim at increasing the flow of tourism in the ninth region which at present is mainly in the Andean and The 'Los Lagos' areas This would also contribute, not only to private interests but to the governmental policies of the commune. The commune specifically referred to has two rivers and sorne little coastal towns, such as Queule, at the mouth of the Boldo river proposed as the future port of the Araucanía region. Also Nigue, a small beach resort where the 'Lenguado' festival takes place every year. Another settlement is 'La Barra' at the mouth of the Toltén river where multiple activities around sport fishing take place. The present investigation diagnosis the touristic potentialities of the 'El Pino' farm, identifying resources such as: Tourist attractions; equipment and facilities; infrastructure and institutional aspects, apart from the actual potential and demand. With this, through an analysis of strengths and weaknesses of the interna! resources of the land and the opportunities and threats to the environment. This last aspect is in line with the institutional rulings and norms that regulate the touristic development of the region.
