Because of the geographical, political, social and historical features, Chile has now more than ever has become a multicultural country. However, it has detected a lack in the references about the knowledge of different cultures and the teaching of this diversity, where the greatest weakness is evident in the ethnic matter. Specifically, the chilean Roma and their repertoire. In this context, a multicultural society cannot reach mutual cooperation and enrichment if there's no undestanding of the cultures with which it coexists. Among these, in Chile, is the Roma, with which one lives daily. This is why experts in matters of culture and music, and the Roma community realize the need to safeguard the chilean gypsy repertoire. This research is based largely on the Néstor García Canclini's theory of hybridization, and is guided by the convention to safeguard intangible cultural heritage of the UNESCO. Hybridization theory offers an intercultural vision towards multiculturality, assuming there's no homogeneous nor essentialist cultures because they have ah had and have a history of transformation. Thus, it's going to contribute to the current chilean education complementing classroom instruction in NB4, in the subsector of Musical Arts, bringing the culture of the Roma through a musical teaching manual designed for teachers, that had included chilean Roma traditional repertory with a pedagogic sight.
