El presente trabajo trata de presentar un modelo de Learning Analytics
usando herramientas de BI aplicada a cursos virtuales. Para ello se estudió el
caso de la Pontificia Universidad Católica que lleva años dictando cursos de
modalidad a distancia, a través de dos unidades organizacionales con diferentes
LMS (Learning Management System) o Sistema de Gestión de Aprendizaje. El
objetivo es Identificar y Desarrollar el mejor modelo de Learning Analytics que
permita facilitar el análisis de los datos correspondientes a cada uno de los niveles
de la institución. Para cumplir con ello se han propuesto tres software que se
adaptan a las características de la institución para finalmente elegir uno y
presentar el modelo que mejor se adapte al modelo de Learning Analytics.
The present work tries to present a model of Learning Analytics using BI tools applied to virtual courses.
