Resumen
During the last years, teaching English as a foreign language has been playing and important role in Chilean society. Even though it has been more than a decade of teaching English as a foreign language, it was within the last five years that the government decided to pay attention as it deserves; a useful tool for people to communicate with others in this globalized world. Now, there is an important test for students called SIMCE in which if students get a high score they can obtain a certificate that shows their level of English language. Nonetheless, the learning process of it has been quite difficult. The acquisition of its grammar is one of the most difficult things for students to master. That is why we decided to implement a different methodology for students which was called Student Centered Approach to teach English grammar to seventh graders at a state-owned school by using multimedia applications. Nevertheless, it was not the only thing we implemented. We also used technological tools inside our lessons to help the learning process of the students.
