Resumen
Esta tesis analiza los discursos de estudiantes de ambos sexos de la Carrera de
Terapia Ocupacional correspondiente a tres ciclos educativos de pregrado (III, IV y V
aƱo), pertenecientes a un centro de formaciĆ³n profesional en la Ciudad de Santiago de
Chile bajo un modelo de sociedad neoliberal. Utilizando una metodologĆa de tipo
Cualitativa, se estudiĆ³ el discurso de estos tres ciclos de formaciĆ³n. Bajo un anĆ”lisis del
discurso se plantearon posiciones de habla las cuales representan desde una mirada
crĆtica y social de la terapia ocupacional, posiciones de opresiĆ³n, de adaptabilidad y
emancipaciĆ³n.
This thesis analyzes the discourses of male and female students of the School of Occupational Therapy corresponding to three cycles of undergraduate education (III, IV and V year) belonging to a professional training center in the city of Santiago of Chile under a model of neoliberal society. Using a qualitative methodology type, the discourse of these three cycles of formation was studied. Under a discourse analysis speaks positions which represent a critica! and social gaze occupational therapy positions of oppression, adaptability and emancipation were raised.
