Ítem Teaching is a blockbuster: busing authentic materials, specifically film clips, as a didactical tool to reinforce the use of the third person singular structure in Chilean seventh grades EFL students using task-based activities(Universidad Andrés Bello, 2012) Araya, María Paz; Bazaes, Matías; Ibarra, Pablo; Troncoso, Ignacio; Popp Ward, Jennie; Facultad de Humanidades y Educación; Escuela de Educación y Ciencias SocialesThis research paper aims to analyze the likelihood of the effectiveness of incorporating film clips and Task-Based Activities in EFL classrooms as a possible tool to reduce the frequency of third person singular simple present mistakes and errors in students' productive skills. The study was carried out by conducting a quantitative experimental research Study; which consisted on the application of faur types of pre-test and post-test to ali the participants. In addition to the tests, an intervention was made far the intervention group. Furthermore, the experiment was conducted in two elementary grades from a Santiago Centro school. One grade was considered as control group and the other as intervention group; both groups played the role of sample far this research study. The intervention was carried out in faur weeks and it included pre-test, intervention regarding the use of authentic material and task-based activities, in addition to the post-test.
