In arder to accomplish this, we have considered using a quantitative methodology, more precisely a correlational research and an explanatory design. The participants of this study undertook the Strategy Inventory for Language Leaming (SILL) developed by Rebecca Oxford, and a background questionnaire. Moreover, participants' grades were considered to measure achievement in order to accomplish the objective. The analysis of the data demonstrated that language leaming strategies predict the students' academic achievement in an 8.8%. Furthermore, there is no difference in the amount and kind of LLS used between the two levels involved in this study.
