The methodological design was a mixed approach using checklists, field notes, and questionnaires to collect data. The participants were 45 students, 28 from 3rd grade, 17 from 8th grade, 2 teachers and 2 researchers. Results show that working in groups have more positive impact for 8th graders, from the students’, teachers’ and researchers’ perspectives. On the contrary, working in pairs was more beneficial for third graders.
