The intervention utilized the CW method with participants who attended 10th grade in a public high school located in Curicó, Chile. Pre- and post-questionnaires and tasks were the tools that provided the students' view and results, and fieldnotes to see the viewpoint of the teacher. The results of this investigation indicate that using CW activities positively impacts students' writing performance as the teacher and learners' perspectives on the English learning process. This piece of research provides valuable information to the empirical literature in secondary education and supplies a glance at the impact of CW on the students’ writing results.
