Ítem A comparative study of classroom environment of EFL classrooms in Santiago, Chile.(Universidad Andrés Bello, 2010) Alcaíno, Jacqueline; Casanova, Carlos; Córdova, Juan Ignacio; Fontana, Sofía; Giuliani, Fabrizzio; Riquelme, Paulina; Sánchez Pérez, Patricia; Facultad de Educación y Ciencias SocialesThis thesis is a descriptive, non-experimental, and longitudinal study which explores classroom climate of tour year-seven classrooms, all in different private school in Santiago, Chile. The study describes the climates and examines the correlation between the perceptions of the students, teachers, and observers. The classroom environment characteristics will be taken from different authors, included in the theoretical framework and then applied through three different instruments that will be used in those tour classrooms of the tour private schools. The study intends to evaluate, describe, and analyse the different characteristics of classroom environment, specifically in EFL classrooms in private Chilean schools and compare and contrast it with the literature available.
