OR “Football” AND “Creatine” AND" physical condition" OR "performance". Las palabras claves utilizadas fueron:“body posture”AND childrenOR adolescents OR schoolchildren OR schoolchildren ́s AND school OR schools. This contextualization proposal will allow reflection on the inherent pedagogical task of the physical education teacher in Chile. It is important to point out that international agreements, laws, decrees, and normative pedagogy documents, as well as those of physical education, allow establishing coexistence agreements in the same reality. The acquisition and strengthening of skills, competencies, and capacities by the students at school must be transferred to the activities of daily life, which are expected to be guided by a physical education professional. Beyond establishing the limits of the pedagogical paradigms, reflection is invited, without forgetting the starting point and the adaptations that must be developed to respond to the needs of society. © 2023 Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica. A scoping review(Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica, 0025) González-Carrera, Raúl; Montenegro-Espinosa, José b Send mail to Montenegro-Espinosa J.;; Gutiérrez-Espinoza, Héctor; Olivares-Arancibia, Jorge; Castillo-Paredes, Antonio; Yañéz-Sepúlveda, Rodrigo; Pérez-Soto, Juan JoséIntroduction: Childhood and adolescent obesity represents a concerning global epidemic, driven by physical inactivity, sedentary lifestyles, and inadequate eating habits. Objective: To analyse the effectiveness of interventions focusing on physical activity and nutrition in the prevention and treatment of childhood and adolescent obesity. Methodology: A search for scientific studies published up to January 2025 was conducted using PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus databases. The keywords used were: Children OR Adolescent AND Obesity AND Exercise AND Nutrition AND Prevention. All articles that evaluated the effect of exercise and nutrition interventions focused on obesity prevention in children and adolescents were included. The search strategy yielded 491 studies, of which 8 met the eligibility criteria. Results: Evidence shows that most young people do not meet the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendation of 60 minutes of daily moderate to vigorous physical activity, which is directly related to sedentary behavior and excessive screen time, factors that contribute to the increasing prevalence of obesity. Interventions that combine nutritional education, increased physical activity, and reduced screen time show efficacy, although current programs often lack long-term sustainability. Conclusion: Comprehensive and sustained approaches involving schools, families, and communities within a health education model are needed. Thus, addressing overweight and obesity as a public health problem requires a multifaceted approach that includes improvements in nutrition, increased physical activity, and education to reduce sedentary behaviors. A systematic review(Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica, 0024) Nanjarí-Miranda, Rodrigo; Aranda-Bustamante, Felipe; Saavedra-León, Valerie; Zuñiga-Vivanco, Janis; Castillo-Paredes, Antonio; Yáñez-Sepúlveda, Rodrigo; Olivares-Arancibia, JorgePostural hygiene is the technique of positioning the body in a natural way, whether in a static or dynamic state. In this sense, the spinal column is the base structure for the stability of the human being, therefore, preventive measures must be taken for its correct functioning. The objective of this review is to identify the factors that influence correct body posture in schoolchildren. A search for scientific studies published up to June 2021 was carried out using the PubMed, Web of Science, Scopus and SciELO databases. The keywords used were “body posture” AND children OR adolescents OR schoolchildren OR schoolchildren´s AND school OR schools. All the articles that evaluated the body posture and the effect generated by the habitual use of the backpack in schoolchildren were included. The search strategy yielded 3,030 studies of which 33 met the eligibility criteria. It is necessary to evaluate the changes that are developing in the spine, as well as the creation of exercise programs to prevent errors and postural deformities, in order to improve postural hygiene in children. © Copyright: Federación Española de Asociaciones de Docentes de Educación Física.Ítem Trends in Physical Activity Research on Tobacco and/or Alcohol: A Bibliometric Analysis(Multidisciplinary Digital Publishing Institute (MDPI), 0025) Castillo-Paredes, Antonio; del Val Martín, Pablo; Ferrari, GersonBackground/Objectives: Physical activity allows the enjoyment of personal health benefits in those who practice it, including the possibility of modifying behavioral risk factors such as tobacco and alcohol consumption. These risk factors are responsible for the development of non-communicable diseases, which are preventable and controllable. The scientific field on this object of study has grown in recent years. The main objective of this study was to perform a scientific mapping to explore the trend of annual publications, and to analyze and identify the thematic categories, the authors, countries and journals with the highest number of papers, the most referenced papers and authors, and the most used keywords in research related to physical activity and tobacco and/or alcohol consumption. Methods: Through a bibliometric analysis based on traditional bibliometric laws on the scientific documentation related to the subject and indexed in the Main Collection of the Web of Science. The DeSolla Price Law was used to analyze the trend of annual publications, using the coefficient of determination R2. Lotka’s law was applied to identify prolific authors, Bradford’s law to highlight the most frequent publication sources, the h-index to identify the most cited articles and Zipf’s law to highlight the keywords most used in research. Results: A total of 538 documents were analyzed. The trend followed by annual publications is in an exponential growth phase. Adrian Taylor and Michael Ussher were identified as prolific authors. USA and Preventive Medicine were the country and journal with the highest number of publications. The most frequently used words were physical activity, smoking, exercise, alcohol, obesity, and smoking cessation. Conclusions: This bibliometric review identified an exponential growth from 1994 to date of research related to physical activity and tobacco and/or alcohol consumption. It allowed us to identify trends and guide the development of future research in these or new related areas. © 2025 by the authors.
