El estudio soporta y aconseja la práctica de actividad física como factor importante en la prevención del pie plano y desvíos posturales.Ítem Initial Teacher Training in Physical Education, paradigms of training from the perception of the trainer of trainers, ministerial guidelines and curricular networks: case study(Federacion Española de Docentes de Educación Física, 2023) Poblete-Valderrama, Felipe; Illanes Aguilar, Lucia ; Gutiérrez, Luis Linzmayer; Castillo, Lizette Cenzano; Flores Rivera, Carol; Garrido-Méndez, Alex; Rivas Morales, Cristian ; Rodríguez, Katherine HetzThe present investigation presented an analysis of elements that regulate and interact with the Initial Teacher Training (FID) in Pedagogy in Physical Education (PEF) with the objective of knowing through a regional case study how the FID paradigms are configured in PEF considering the perception of trainer of trainers, curriculum and ministerial guidelines. A qualitative approach was used, data analysis was performed through grounded theory with the support of the Atlas.ti statistical program. The collection of information was carried out through semi-structured interviews and analysis of formal ministerial documentation in force until 2021. The results expose the paradigms that predict from the perception of the trainers of trainers and the analyzed curricula (biological-sports), while the ministerial guidelines They provide a regulation to consider related to quality assurance systems from a normative perspective. In conclusion, there is consistency at a theoretical level in terms of compliance with the requested standards, but an inconsistency between the current and felt demand of the FID in PEF. © 2023 Federacion Espanola de Docentes de Educacion Fisica. The purpose was to analyze the different variables of the questionnaire, sociodemographic data and their existing relationship. To meet the objective of the study, descriptive and comparative analyzes were carried out using T Student and ANOVA. In the same way, Pearson correlations were made to identify the link between the dimensions of the instrument with respect to the sex of the students. The results show that the variables that obtained the highest score corresponded to health, coordination and obesity, and, conversely, to aspects related to active life and strength. In addition, statistically significant differences were observed in different variables, mainly in favor of men. It is concluded that the physical self-concept has positive and negative repercussions depending on the sex of the students. © Copyright: Federación Española de Asociaciones de Docentes de Educación Física (FEADEF).Ítem Relationship between anthropometric characteristics, self-perception of body mass index, physical condition and eating habits in university health and education students(Sociedad Chilena de Nutricion Bromatologia y Toxilogica, 2023-02) Parra-Soto, Solange; Poblete-Valderrama, Felipe; Lamana, Rafael Zapata; Cigarroa, Igor; Iturra, José; Cenzano-Castillo, Lizette; Vásquez, Jaime; Garrido-Méndez, Alex; Celis-Morales, Carlos; Rivera, Carol Flores; Monterrosa, ArmandoIntroduction: The university stage is a period of modification in lifestyles. Pedagogy and health career students, addi-tionally, will assume the role of guides and models regarding healthy behaviours towards their students and patients, respectively. Objective: To evaluate the relationship between anthropometric characteristics, self-perception of body mass index (BMI), physical condition and eating habits among pedagogy and health career university students. Mate-rials and method: Descriptive and correlational study. The sample consisted of 158 university students (age 22.5 ± 2.5 years). Anthropometric characteristics, self-perception of BMI, physical condition and eating habits were evaluated. Results: BMI was positively correlated with perceived BMI (r= 0.46, p= 0.012). Waist circumference was positively correlated with perceived BMI and handgrip strength. The percentage of body fat was positively correlated with the perceived BMI and negatively with the physical condition (power, handgrip and flexibility). Arm muscle area was correlated with perceived BMI, perceived BMI score, and physical condition. Eating habits were negatively correlated with perceived BMI but not with anthropometric characteristics. Conclusion: University students from health and education careers with better anthropometric characteristics (lower BMI, waist circumference and fat percentage, and greater muscle area of the arm), have a higher self-perception of BMI and better performance in fitness tests physical. © 2023, Sociedad Chilena de Nutricion Bromatologia y Toxilogica.
