Resumen
Esta investigación tiene como objetivo principal realizar un diagnóstico turístico
en zonas rurales de la comuna de Florida, región del Biobío, para definir el
estado actual y potencial del turismo rural tras el reciente interés de esta
actividad por parte de la municipalidad local y su apertura como Programa de
Turismo bajo la administración de la Dirección de Desarrollo Comunitario
(DIDECO).
Esta comuna, que a lo largo de su extensión corresponde a una zona
mayoritariamente rural, cuenta con las condiciones necesarias y óptimas para
un desarrollo efectivo respecto a este rubro, donde destaca la presencia de
distintos recursos de origen natural, cultural y/o humano, algunos de ellos
siendo parte de la muestra estudiada, lo que junto al interés y entusiasmo de
la comunidad local por visibilizar la oferta presente en este lugar así como sus
tradiciones y costumbres típicas, podría facilitar las condiciones necesarias
para su conversión a atractivo turístico y desencadenar distintas propuestas y
estrategias donde el turismo sustentable traería consigo distintos beneficios
en la gestión y administración del territorio.
La presente investigación, se realizó en base a una metodología cuantitativa
con un tipo de diseño no experimental descriptivo y de alcance exploratorio
con propósitos y tareas previamente establecidas donde las visitas a terreno
facilitaron la recolección de información. Los instrumentos fundamentales para
lograr el objetivo, fue la aplicación de distintos cuestionarios y fichas que
permitieron caracterizar los recursos turísticos presentes.
Los principales resultados obtenidos fue la identificación y recopilación de
datos de distintos recursos turísticos y un análisis de los mayores atributos de
la comuna desde la mirada de actores relevantes a nivel local y/o regional.
The main objective of this research is to carry out a tourism diagnosis in rural areas of the commune of Florida, Biobío region, to define the current state and potential of rural tourism after the recent interest in this activity on the part of the local municipality and its opening as Tourism Program under the administration of the Community Development Directorate (DIDECO). This commune, which throughout its extension corresponds to a mostly rural area, has the necessary and optimal conditions for effective development with respect to this area, where the presence of different resources of natural, cultural and/or human origin stands out, some of them being part of the sample studied, which together with the interest and enthusiasm of the local community to make visible the offer present in this place as well as its typical traditions and customs, could facilitate the necessary conditions for its conversion into a tourist attraction and trigger different proposals and strategies where sustainable tourism would bring with it different benefits in the management and administration of the territory. The present research was carried out based on a quantitative methodology with a type of descriptive non-experimental design and exploratory scope with previously established purposes and tasks where field visits facilitated the collection of information. The fundamental instruments to achieve the objective and obtain the different results were the application of different questions and sheets that allowed the tourism resources present to be characterized. The main results obtained were the identification and compilation of data from different tourist resources and an analysis of the major attributes of the commune from the perspective of relevant actors at the local and/or regional level.
