dc.description.abstractCorrective feedback is considered as a fundamental, useful tool in learning as an overall. However, it owes its popularity to its application in second language acquisition. In this field, there are diverse theories and hypotheses, developed by not only teachers, but also scientists, who have analyzed the behavior of individuals exposed to different types of correction, obtaining favorable results towards the use of corrective feedback. This literature review consisted in exposing evidence which supports the effectiveness of corrective feedback; comparing authors who are either in favor or against the use of this tool; analyzing theories and hypotheses; and also finding out whether the use of corrective feedback during oral interaction is eff ective or not.es
