La importancia de la convivencia escolar como agente de calidad educativa, en relación a las
modificaciones realizadas por el Ministerios de Educación, en las directrices que se relacionan
con la formación valórica y su influencia en el logro aprendizajes. Por lo anterior se hace
necesario indagar empíricamente si se establece relación entre estas dos variables del proceso de
enseñanza.
El objetivo de este estudio es comprender la relación existente entre convivencia escolar y
los resultados de calidad educativa, en el colegio Darío Salas de la comuna de chillan viejo.
El diseño de esta investigación es cualitativo de análisis del discurso, porque interesa
identificar la relación existente entre las variables. Ésta modalidad de investigación permite
observar y analizar el hecho puntual, sin modificar su naturaleza y relación con otras variables.
Permite además generar resultados con un enfoque netamente objetivo.
La muestra estuvo compuesta por docentes, alumnos y apoderados del establecimiento.
Las conclusiones plantean, por una parte la existencia de un buen clima de convivencia
escolar, lo cual facilita de manera importe el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Por otro lado
existe en el establecimiento un buen rendimiento escolar, lo cual se puede apreciar en resultados
de pruebas estandarizadas (SIMCE — PSU), en comparación con sus similares.
También la investigación permite identificar la necesidad de implementar un plan de trabajo
que permita realizar una inducción, tanto para alumnos, profesores y apoderados nuevos, con la
finalidad de entregar las herramientas necesarias, para logar un buen clima de convivencia
escolar.
The importance of school coexistence as an agent of educational quality, in relation to the modifications made by the Ministries of Education, in the guidelines that are related to the value formation and its influence on the achievement of learning. Therefore, it is necessary to investigate empirically if a relationship is established between these two variables of the teaching process. The objective of this study is to understand the relationship between school coexistence and the results of educational quality, at the Darío Salas school in the town of Chillan Viejo. The design of this research is qualitative of discourse analysis, because it is interesting to identify the relationship between the variables. This type of research aliows us to observe and analyze the specific event, without modifying its nature and relationship with other variables. It also allows generating results with a purely objective approach. The sample was composed of teachers, students and representatives of the establishment. The conclusions raise, on the one hand, the existence of a good atmosphere of school coexistence, which facilitates the teaching and learning process in an important way. On the other hand there is a good school performance in the establishment, which can be seen in the results of standardized tests (SIMCE - PSU), in comparison with their peers. The research also identifies the need to implement a work plan that allows induction, both for students, teachers and new attorneys, in order to deliver the necessary tools to achieve a good climate of school coexistence.
