(Levadura), Enteromorpha intestinalis (Alga limpia) y Enteromorpha
The marine copepods are one of the main food sources , with the braquipods and rotifers, for the marine fish and crustacean larvae in the natural environment. Because the copepods have an excellent nutricional quality, many laboratory investigations were made in order to improve the cultive technique. This study includes the harpacticoids copepods Tisbe sp. that carne from culture tanks with Loxechinus albus seed, stored at the investigation center of quintay (CIMARQ). They were treated with 3 different diets which included Saccharomyces cerevisiae (leaven), Enteromorpha intestinalis (clean algae) y Enteromorpha intestinalis with pibionts ( crude algae). After three generations a naupliar recount was made for the ovigerous females fed with the three diets, every two days and three times per day. The higher values were founded in the females fed with leaven (77 +- nauplii/ female) and crude algae (67 +- 21 nauplii/ female) . At the same time lipidic analisis was made to the ovigerous females fed only with leaven and clean algae, finding sorne differences only in the Palmitoleic lipid acid values (16:1), Linoleic lipid acid values (18 :2 n-3), and DHA (22: 6 n- 3), that were highest in the ovigerous females fed with leaven. Here the linoleic acid was found in very small quantities while the other two lipid acids were found to duplicate the quantities founded in the ovigerous fed with crude algae. Females fed with leaven al so obtained a higher relation between DHA 7 EPA with a value of 4,27. The diet that obtained the best results in fecundity and in lipidic content, was the one composed with leaven, so we can conclude that this diet is a very good altemative as a food source for the Tisbe sp.
