Oral health is a main component in the well-being of people, the teaching that we give to our boys and girls is important, since we must promote good oral habits and good nutrition. Our research is based on the prevalence of caries and the need for treatment, it has a descriptive and cross-sectional design, our study population is the children who benefit from the Sowing Smiles Program from two to five years old and who are attended by CESFAM San Rafael de La Pintana. An analysis of the records of the Sembrando Sonrisas Program was carried out, selecting those that met the inclusion criteria, validating the data in excel of the records through the Rayen system, verifying that the infants are registered in the CESFAM San Rafael. The results obtained in relation to the prevalence of caries indicate that infants aged 4 and 5 years have a higher prevalence of caries, as do men over women. The PreKinder educational level presents a higher Ceod Index in relation to the other levels, the infants of the J.J. Prieto present a higher ceod index in relation to the other gardens and finally the need for treatment was measured. We can conclude that as age advances, the progression of caries in the population also increases, with a slight increase in males over females. According to the ceod component, component c is the one with the highest number of cavitated teeth, corresponding to a restorative/preventive treatment.
