dc.description.abstractEn este documento se presenta la tesis de pregrado que caracteriza la percepción que tienen los jóvenes universitarios de la Universidad Andrés Bello con respecto a la calidad de vida de la población migrante que reside en Chile. El creciente aumento en los últimos años de población migrante, ha generado interés por estudiar y averiguar sobre esta realidad, centrándonos en la percepción de los jóvenes quienes son el futuro de la sociedad, los representantes y encargados de lograr anhelados cambios que se esperan para el futuro de la población migrante. Los objetivos que se plantearon en esta investigación, se enfocaron al conocimiento de las percepciones de los jóvenes sobre el acceso de los servicios básicos, respecto a sus condiciones de habitabilidad y salud, junto con el rol que pretenden cumplir los jóvenes con los migrantes residentes en Chile. Para la recolección de información se aplicaron encuestas y entrevistas, de las cuales se puede dar cuenta de que los actores que participaron en el estudio, desean generar cambios, lo cual fue visualizado a través de su discurso, expresando opiniones fundamentadas desde su postura, su área de conocimiento y el estudio de su carrera universitaria. Otro elemento que destaca fuertemente, son las condiciones de hacinamiento en la que viven los migrantes que residen en Chile, por lo que es relevante la creación de nuevas políticas públicas en materia de migración.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis document presents the undergraduate thesis that characterizes the perception that young university students of Universidad Andrés Bello have regarding the quality of life of the migrant population residing in Chile. The increasing amount of migrant population in recent years has caused a great deal of interest to thoroughly study and find out about this particular reality, focusing mainly on the perception of young people who are the future of society; they will be the representatives and heads to accomplish the longed changes that are expected for the future of migrants. The objectives set out in this research are mainly focused on the knowledge of the perceptions of young people about the access of basic services, concerning their habitability and health conditions, along with the role that young people intend to achieve with migrants residing in Chile. For the data collection, surveys and interviews were applied. It can be seen that the parties involved in the study want to generate changes, a situation that was visualized through their speech and their opinions based on their position, their area of knowledge and the study of their university career. Another element that stands out strongly is the overcrowded conditions in which migrants residing in Chile live, which is why the creation of new public policies on migration are highly relevant.
