Resumen
Uno de los problemas más comunes, que afecta la durabilidad de los pisos industriales, en Chile y en el mundo entero, es el desgaste por abrasión, producido principalmente por el tránsito de grúas que habitualmente son utilizadas en bodegas e industrias, para el traslado de los distintos tipos de carga. Hoy en día distintos tipos de sistemas ayudan a obtener superficies más durables, resistentes en el tiempo y con mayores prestaciones en su utilización en las distintas áreas.
Dentro de los tipos de sistema cabe citar, la aplicación de endurecedores en polvo
sobre el hormigón fresco: sistema que eleva notablemente la resistencia al desgaste
y al impacto de la superficie de los pisos de uso industrial.
Otro tipo de endurecedores superficiales son los líquidos, que se recomienda aplicar
sobre los pavimentos, que durante su construcción han tenido algún tipo problema
que deriven en una superficie con baja resistencia al desgaste, auque también es
aplicado en pavimentos con endurecedores en polvo, para obtener una superficie
con una resistencia aún mayor y un acabado superficial estéticamente mejor.
Existen otros sistemas, que están formulados para proteger a las superficies de los
pisos industriales, contra el deterioro, por causa del desgaste por abrasión y ataques
químicos, y que además les otorga un mejor aspecto. Estos sistemas son en base
resinas termoplásticas, principalmente resinas epóxicas, aunque también se utilizan
resinas de uretano.
De los sistemas ya mencionados se realizó un estudio visual del comportamiento de
los endurecedores en polvo con agregados de cuarzo, para lo cual se sometieron
probetas que simulan la superficie de un piso industrial, a las condiciones
ambientales extremas que se pueden presentar durante la construcción de un piso
industrial. Las probetas con los endurecedores tuvieron un muy buen resultado en
comparación con las que no se les aplicó el endurecedor.
Los endurecedores otorgan un notable mejoramiento de la resistencia al desgaste
de las superficies de los pisos industriales, aunque para lograr esas resistencias es
siempre importante tener un muy buen curado del hormigón y una óptima
dosificación.
One of the most common problems, that effect the durability of the industrial f1oors, in Chile and the whole world, is the wear by abrasion, that is produced mainly by the traffic of cranes that are habitually utilized in cellars and industries for the transfer of the certain types of loads. Nowadays we have certain types of systems that help us obtain more durable surfaces, resistant in time and with greater installments in its utilization in distinct areas. Inside the types of systems we have, the application of hardening dust upon the fresh concrete. This notably elevates the resistance to the wear and tear of the industrial f1oors. Another type of superficial hardener is liquids that are recommended to apply upon pavements, that during their construction they had sorne type of problem that derived on a surface with low resistance to the wear, all though it is also applied on pavements with strengtheners in dust, to obtain a surface with an even greater resistance and a finished surface that has a better appearance. Other systems exist that are formulated to protect the surfaces of industrial f1oors, against the deterioration, because of the wear by abrasion and the chemical attacks on the f1oor, and that besides a great quality offers them great construction. These systems are in base termofijas resins, mainly epóxicas resins, although there are also uretano base resins. Of the already mentioned systems I carried out a visual study of the behavior of the strengtheners in dust with aggregates of quartz, for which they submitted samples that simulate the surface of an industrial f1oor, to the extreme environmental conditions that can be presented during the construction of an industrial f1oor. The samples with the strengtheners had a very good result in comparison to the ones that the strengthener was not applied too The hardeners offer a notable improvement of resistance to the wear of the industrial f1oors, although to achieve this notable resistance it is always important to have cured the concrete with the appropriate amount of this.
