Resumen
El propósito de este trabajo es analizar si es la evaluación tradicional de la lectura mensual la causa de los bajos resultados de comprensión lectora de los alumnos del 5° básico de la Escuela Maryland College, reflejados en el SIMCE 2014 y analizar los niveles de satisfacción de los estudiantes respecto a la actual evaluación y la correspondencia con sus gustos e intereses.
Esta investigación cualitativa descriptiva, se plantea describir una evaluación auténtica y efectiva para el desarrollo de habilidades de comprensión lectora, que invite a los estudiantes a leer textos de su interés y a ser evaluados de forma innovadora y significativa.
Se pretende contribuir a la reflexión pedagógica de los docentes de Lenguaje y Comunicación en relación a los bajos resultados SIMCE de la escuela, y a su relación con la falta de motivación de los alumnos por el gusto hacia la lectura, responsabilidad de los profesores. Además, motivar a los alumnos a través de una evaluación diferente, que permita a todos alcanzar el aprendizaje y el éxito tan esperado.
The intention of this work is to analyze if there is the traditional evaluation of the monthly reading the cause of the shallows resulted from reading comprehension of the pupils of 5 ° basic of the School Maryland College, reflected in the SIMCE 2014 and to analyze the levels of satisfaction of the students with regard to the current evaluation and the mail with its tastes and interests. This descriptive qualitative investigation, it considers to describe an authentic and effective evaluation for the development of skills of reading comprehension, which invites the students to read texts of its interest and to be evaluated of innovative and significant form. One tries to contribute to the pedagogic reflection of the teachers of Language and Communication as regards the shallows turned out to be SIMCE of the school, and to its relation with the absence of motivation of the pupils for the taste towards the reading, responsibility of the teachers. Also, to motivate the pupils across a different evaluation, which allows to all to reach learning and such an awaited success.
