La gestión logística y control de inventarios, trata de conseguir mejoras en los procesos de recepción, almacenamiento y distribución de un producto dentro de un mismo almacén, hasta el punto de consumo, satisfaciendo las necesidades de los clientes y en total conformidad. Estos productos representan el inventario, el cual es el principal activo para cualquier empresa. Por ello, que determinar una estrategia para un sistema logístico y control de inventarios es fundamental para el buen funcionamiento de una empresa.
El presente proyecto tiene como fin el desarrollo de propuestas para el sistema de gestión logística y control de inventarios del Centro de Abastecimiento (T.) que permita aumentar la satisfacción del cliente. El alcance del mismo involucra el estudio, análisis y propuestas de mejoras. Comenzando con el análisis interno de la Cadena de Valor que esencialmente es una herramienta para analizar las actividades y desagregándolas, buscando identificar y analizar las actividades relevantes para obtener alguna ventaja competitiva, la cual nos proporcionara la información necesaria para mejorar la gestión logística. Se analizara los inventarios existentes del Almacén SERMAD a través de la Clasificación ABC y Diagrama Pareto proponiendo un control de inventarios y actualizar la clasificación de estos a través de la Matriz de Kraljic. Para minimizar y erradicar las mermas por vencimiento de productos en especial en el Almacén de VÍVERES se empleara el método FIFO.
Para determinar el grado de cumplimiento de los objetivos se propondrán indicadores claves de desempeño (KPIs), para cuantificar el grado de cumplimiento de los objetivos.
The logistics management and inventory control, seeks to achieve improvements in the processes of reception, storage and distribution of a product within the same warehouse, to the point of consumption, satisfying the needs of customers and in full compliance. These products represent the inventory, which is the main asset for any company. Therefore, determining a strategy for a logistics system and inventory control is essential for the proper functioning of a company. The purpose of this project is to develop proposals for the logistics management and inventory control system of the Centro de Abastecimiento (T.), which will increase customer satisfaction. The scope of the same involves the study, analysis and improvement proposals. Starting with the internal analysis of the Value Chain, which is essentially a tool to analyze the activities and disaggregate them, seeking to identify and analyze the relevant activities to obtain a competitive advantage, which will provide us with the necessary information to improve logistics management. The existing inventories of the SERMAD Warehouse will be analyzed through the ABC Classification and Pareto Diagram, proposing an inventory control and updating the classification of these through the Kraljic Matrix. To minimize and eradicate the losses due to expiration of products, especially in the VÍVERES warehouse, the FIFO method will be used. To determine the degree of compliance with the objectives, key performance indicators (KPIs) will be proposed to quantify the degree of compliance with the objectives.
