Resumen
Los medios audiovisuales han adquirido gran relevancia en vista del avance tecnológico y las nuevas tendencias del mundo actual donde se han incorporado en el área de la educación, tiene como propósito apoyar los subsectores con herramientas didácticas y lúdicas en relación a las mejoras que se desarrollan dentro de una clase tipo.
Esta investigación tiene como finalidad recolectar información mediante una encuesta sobre las tendencias de los medios de comunicación que profesores y profesoras de educación física incorporan dentro de sus clases y cuál es el gusto de alumnos y alumnas sobre estos mismos. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran las tendencias de docentes sobre la frecuencia y utilización de estos dentro de la clase, respecto a alumnos y alumnas se demostró gustos sobre la televisión, tiempos destinados fuera del horario escolar y tiempo destinado en relación a la actividad física y deporte. Así se establece la influencia positiva de los medios audiovisuales como promotor del deporte y la actividad física, como también elemento motivacional en las clases de educación física.
Audio-visual means have acquired great relevance regarding technological breakthroughs and the world's new trends, which have been introduced into the field of education, providing school subjects with recreational and didactic topls in relation with the development of improvements in standardised classes. The aim of this research is to collect information by means of a survey carried out on the trends of mass media that physical education teachers use in their classes and to find out which their students prefer the most. The results show how often teachers use mass media in their classes. As for students, they devote most of their time to watching TV and doing physical activities both inside and outside school. To sum up, it is possible to state that mass media have a positive influence on students in the sense of helping to promote sports and physical activities and encouraging them to be actively involved in physical education classes.
